Internal diseases

Founded in 1992 as the Department of Clinical Disciplines, it was later renamed the Department of Therapy. In the 2013–2014 academic year, by decision of the Senate, it was renamed the Department of Propaedeutics and Internal Medicine to align with the titles of the courses taught. Starting from the 2024–2025 academic year, following the consolidation of departments within the Faculty of Medicine, it has been designated as the Department of Internal Medicine.

The primary objective of the department is to train highly qualified, competitive professionals in the field of medicine, as well as to deepen and advance students' theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in therapeutic disciplines and foundational clinical skills.
