The Department of Special Clinical Disciplines demonstrated strong results in the 2024–2025 academic year in educational, methodological, and research activities. At this stage, the department is successfully completing a grant-funded scientific project for 2023–2025, led by Associate Professor Gulnaz Orazbekovna Nuskabayeva. In the 2024–2026 academic year, under the supervision of G.O. Nuskabayeva, a doctoral student successfully defended their dissertation. G.O. Nuskabayeva was awarded the title of “Best University Teacher.” The head of the department, K.Zh. Sadykova, received the academic title of Associate Professor.
In addition, under the leadership of Karlygash Zharylkassynovna Sadykova, the department staff received approval and began implementing a new grant-funded research project for 2025–2027 entitled AP26102763 “The Influence of Genetic Markers, Immune Status, and Mineral Metabolism on the Dental Health of Patients with Metabolic Syndrome.”
Young faculty members are actively participating in the implementation of the research project. Within the framework of the two scientific projects, six doctoral students are currently being trained at the department. Over the past three years, the department’s staff have published several research articles, obtained two utility model patents in peer-reviewed journals, and produced five educational manuals.
