Faculty of Postgraduate Higher Medical Education

The Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University provides training for qualified medical professionals and healthcare management personnel.

The Faculty offers 5 internship educational programmes and 47 residency educational programmes, as well as 3 educational programmes in the field of Business, Management and Law at the master's and doctoral levels. The total number of students exceeds 1,800. The graduate employment rate is over 83%.

The Faculty's main objective is to strengthen the link between education and practical healthcare, introduce modern teaching methods, and train specialists with a high level of professional competence. To achieve this objective, the Faculty conducts educational, methodological and research activities and continuously improves its educational programmes in line with labour market demands and the needs of the healthcare system.

To ensure high-quality professional training, the Faculty makes use of educational resources and clinical training facilities. Medical organisations in Shymkent serve as clinical training sites where students develop practical skills and enhance their professional competencies.
