The Institute conducts research on the historical development of Turkic peoples, traditions of statehood, socio-political systems, and historical continuity. It studies the formation of Turkic civilization, the history of ancient and medieval Turkic states, and introduces historical sources and genealogical records into scholarly circulation. Furthermore, the worldview, religion, spiritual values, and preservation of the historical memory of Turkic peoples are also among the Institute’s research objectives.
