Achievements

• On April 28, 2023, the Department of Russian language and literature held a Republican scientific and methodological seminar on the topic "improving methods of teaching Russian language and literature". Teachers and school teachers who took part in the seminar were awarded certificates.
• On October 17-30, 2022, within the framework of external academic mobility within the framework of the Orhun program, candidate of philological sciences. associate professor A. Baituova and candidate of philological sciences D. S. Beisembayeva were sent to lecture at Ataturk University.

Teaching staff awards, letters of thanks 

• In 2019, doctor of pedagogical sciences, prof. Yerkibayeva G. G. was awarded the badge "Honorary professor of Kazakhstan" for her outstanding work in the field of Education and science and was awarded a certificate.
•  In 2019, doctor of pedagogical sciences, prof. Yerkibayeva G. G. took the 1st place in the International competition of pedagogical skills "Ideas of Education - 2019", which was held from January 14 to 19, and was awarded a diploma.
• On September 10, 2019, doctor of pedagogical sciences, prof. Yerkibayeva G. G.  took part in the International competition “Scientific supervisor of the year - 2019 " and was awarded the 1st level diploma.
• In 2019, doctor of pedagogical sciences, prof. Yerkibayeva G. G.  took part in the Republican competition “The best teacher of higher education institution -2020”, held within the framework of the project “Identification, development of the abilities of gifted students” in order to popularize the message of President Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan “Constructive public dialogue – the basis of stability and prosperity of Kazakhstan” among teachers and students of educational organizations.
• In 2020. doctor of pedagogical sciences, prof. Yerkibayeva G. G.  was awarded the "The best teacher of the University -2020" and awarded a certificate for special merits in the field of Education and science.
• In 2022, the head of the Department, Beisembayeva S. B., on behalf of the committee on language policy of the Ministry of Science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was awarded a letter of thanks “For the contribution to improving the status of the state language”.
• In 2022, the teacher of the Department, L. B. Zhaparova, was awarded a letter of thanks from the rector of the University Zh.Temirbekova on the occasion of the teacher's day.
• In 2023, the teacher of the Department, G. A. Erbosynova, on behalf of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was awarded a letter of thanks for long years of service in the field of Education.
• From October 13 to October 26, 2025, faculty members of the Department of Russian Language and Literature — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer Saltanat Baigazynovna Beisembayeva and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Aigul Nazirovna Baituova — visited SamSMU to exchange experience with philological and pedagogical departments and to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
• • From November 3 to November 16, 2025, within the framework of the academic mobility program, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer Zh.B. Oshakbayeva and Senior Lecturer S.Zh. Ashimova delivered lecture courses at Chirchik State Pedagogical University (Republic of Uzbekistan).
• • From December 4 to December 9, 2025, Umida Rametova, a lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, participated in the XV International Conference “Preservation, Support and Promotion of the Russian Language and Culture Abroad,” held in Minsk (Republic of Belarus).
• • From February 2 to February 13, 2026, faculty members Gulnar Bakhytzhanovna Kuanyshbayeva and Lazzat Kassymbekovna Rysbekova conducted classes at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan within the framework of the academic mobility program.
• • On February 16, 2026, a scientific and methodological seminar for the teaching staff entitled “Scientific Project Design in the Modern School” was held at Secondary School No. 21 named after M. Poshanov. The seminar was conducted by Saltanat Baigazynovna Beisembayeva, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
• On March 4, 2026, Saltanat Beisembayeva, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, conducted a training session entitled “Formation of Key Competencies of a Future Teacher.”
• On April 8, 2026, the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philology organized the International Scientific Conference “Science and Innovation: The Role of Universities.” Lazzat Kassymbekovna Rysbekova, Senior Lecturer and Master’s degree holder, participated as a moderator, ensuring the effective conduct of the conference sessions.
• From March 10 to March 20, 2026, faculty members of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Manat Kurmanbekovna Zhorabekova and Zhanar Aitmagambetovna Zhunisbayeva, visited the Abu Ali Ibn Sina State Medical Institute in Bukhara within the framework of the academic mobility program.
• Inkar Aldiyarkyzy Barat, a student of group FRL-521A of the educational program 6B01724 “Russian Language and Literature” of the Faculty of Philology, became a prize winner of the Republican Competition “Best Student,” held in Astana.
• On April 17, 2026, the Faculty of Philology hosted the presentation of the scientific monograph “The Role of Religion, Customs and Traditions in the Lives of Kazakh Women” by Gulfairuz Ginayatovna Yerkibayeva, published in London.
• On April 17–18, 2026, the XVIII Republican Student Subject Olympiad was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana). As a result, the team of third-year students of the educational program “Russian Language and Literature” won 1st place in the Team Presentation Contest and 3rd place in the Creative Contest, while Diana Romanovna Sadykova won 3rd place in the individual competition in Russian Language and Literature.
•  From April 20 to May 4, 2026, Gulfairuz Ginayatovna Yerkibayeva delivered lectures at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University within the framework of the academic mobility program.
• On April 24, 2026, the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University organized the International Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Artificial Intelligence as a Means of Individualizing Learning in Philological Education.”
•  From April 23 to May 6, 2026, faculty members of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Nursulu Abubakirovna Abdikhanova and Nurgul Nurkhozhayevna Zholdykhozha, visited Chirchik State Pedagogical University (Chirchik, Republic of Uzbekistan) within the framework of the academic mobility program.
