Round Table on “The New Constitution: The Role of the Legal Profession and Mechanisms for the Protection of Rights” Held

 

A round table on “The New Constitution: The Role of the Legal Profession and Mechanisms for the Protection of Rights” was held at the initiative of the Faculty of Law.

The main purpose of the event was to discuss legal changes within the framework of the new Constitution, identify the role of the legal profession in society, and exchange views on improving mechanisms for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

The round table brought together qualified specialists in the legal field, lawyers and legal professionals, who shared their professional experience and expertise.

The event was moderated by Aliya Kasymbek Orynbasarkyzy, Dean of the Faculty of Law, PhD, Lawyer.

The following experts delivered presentations during the round table:

Kairat Kambarov – Chairman of the Bar Association of Turkistan Region;

Marat Naizabekov – Member of the Turkistan Regional Branch of the Republican Public Association “Union of Lawyers of Kazakhstan”;

Indira Abdurakhmanova – Chief Specialist of the Legal Awareness and Legal Services Division of the Department of Justice of Turkistan Region;

Zharmukhambet Saparov – Inspector of the Legal Awareness and Legal Services Division;

Orymbek Toykin – PhD, Lawyer.

During the round table, the participants discussed the impact of the new Constitution on the legal system, the importance of the legal profession in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, the effectiveness of legal assistance, and ways to improve mechanisms for the protection of rights.

Special attention was paid to combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. The event provided students with an opportunity to communicate directly with legal professionals and exchange views on current issues in the field of law.

At the conclusion of the round table, the participants emphasized the importance of continued efforts to ensure the rule of law, protect the constitutional rights of citizens, and promote legal culture in society.
