Scientific and Technical Council
The Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is a collegial body of the university responsible for shaping and implementing scientific, technical, and innovation-related activities. It was established to ensure effective interaction among all segments of the university’s scientific sector and to actively involve the faculty in research activities.

The purpose of the Scientific and Technical Council is to enhance the research activity of the faculty, ensure the effective implementation of the university’s scientific policy, and widely promote the university’s scientific achievements.

The main tasks of the Scientific and Technical Council:
• to implement a unified university policy aimed at the effective development of science, to carry out the University Development Program, and to define promising scientific research directions considering national and global trends;
• to ensure the participation of the university’s faculty in creating scientific products and increasing the competitiveness of scientific research results, and to provide recommendations for their implementation;
• to preserve and develop the scientific potential of the university;
• to conduct scientific expertise of fundamental and applied research;
• to select and nominate promising completed research projects by university scientists and students;
• to promote the development of innovation activities;
• to support the development of international connections in organizing joint scientific research and to assist in effective cooperation between the university and leading domestic and foreign scientific centers, including within international programs.
