Today, our university hosted the PechaKucha competition as part of the XXXIV Student Scientific and Theoretical Conference.

The main purpose of the conference is to support the first scientific steps of students who show interest in research, encourage them to engage in scholarly activities, and foster a scientific culture.

It should be noted that during the sectional defense of students' research projects, their work was supervised by qualified specialists and experienced scholars in the respective fields.

This year, the traditional conference brought together 816 students across 33 sections, who presented their research projects. The best works in each section were nominated for the PechaKucha competition.

According to the results of the competition:

-- 1st place was awarded to Islam Abdulakhadov and Milaz Khinizov from the Faculty of Engineering.

2nd place went to Peruza Yeltiyar and Nurizat Aynabek, students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

3rd place was awarded to Aiganym Serikbekova, a student in the English Language section of the Faculty of Philology.

Since the 2022–2024 academic years, our university has been supporting the best presenters by providing them with study trips to the Republic of Turkey during the summer. This year, the three winners of the PechaKucha competition were also granted this opportunity.

In addition, the winners of the II Republican Stage of the Student Scientific Research Competition of the 2024–2025 academic year were awarded monetary prizes from the Rector. Letters of appreciation were also presented to the academic advisors of the students.
