The faculty members and researchers of our university have demonstrated outstanding results in several national competitions, achieving significant success in the fields of science and education.
In particular, two of our faculty members won the nationwide competition “Best University Lecturer of 2025.” The main objective of this competition is to enhance the prestige of the teaching profession and to promote the professional development of university lecturers.
It is worth noting that 502 candidates from 89 higher education institutions across the country participated in the competition. As a result, 150 lecturers from 37 universities were selected as winners. Representatives of our university — Mukhtar Issayev, PhD, Acting Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Theology, and Meruert Yergekhodzhayeva, PhD, Associate Professor and Head of Department, Faculty of Philology — were awarded the “Best University Lecturer of 2025” badge.
In addition, our researchers became winners of the competition for scientific awards and state research scholarships organized by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A total of 33 candidates from our university participated in this competition. Following the selection process, Indira Aimbetova, Acting Professor of the Department of Biology, Candidate of Technical Sciences, and Albina Muratbekova, PhD, Senior Research Fellow at the Eurasian Research Institute, were awarded state research scholarships for talented young scientists. This achievement reflects their consistent scientific research and dedicated professional work.
