As part of the Nauryz ten-day celebration, on March 18 — National Costume Day — the main building of our university was filled with a festive and vibrant atmosphere. The staff of the Faculty of Arts, Media, and Design, along with talented students, dressed in traditional attire and arrived in a special parade accompanied by beautiful music. Holding dombras in their hands, they elevated the national spirit through melodious instrumental pieces and songs, bringing warmth and joy to all who witnessed the event.

It is worth noting that the festive parade began at the building of the Faculty of Arts, Media, and Design, continued to the Keruen Saray complex, and then proceeded on foot to the university’s main building. In this way, the parade also attracted the special attention and admiration of the city’s residents.

The interior of the building was filled with celebration, with every corner reflecting elements of national culture and traditions. Elegantly patterned kamzols and chapan robes, feathered saukele headdresses, and embroidered skullcaps all revived the heritage of our ancestors and left a strong impression on the audience.

During the event, the performers met with Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and Rector’s Representative Naci Genc, performed songs, and expressed their best wishes. The Rector, in turn, expressed sincere gratitude to all participants for promoting national values and contributing to the celebration of this important day.

National Costume Day is not only a display of elegance and festivity, but also a symbol of history, heritage, spirit, and unity. Today’s parade undoubtedly deepened students’ appreciation for cultural heritage.
