THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MET WITH SUMMER SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS
Our students participating in the Summer School program in Türkiye met with Prof. Muhittin Şimşek, Chair of the Board of Trustees, at the university's headquarters in Ankara.
In his address, Prof. Muhittin Şimşek emphasized the university's unique role in fostering unity across the Turkic world. He noted that young people who grow up embracing a shared history and cultural heritage will become the future leaders strengthening the bonds between their respective countries.
"As students nurtured by the legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, you are the greatest asset of the Turkic world. This Summer School is not merely an academic program; it is an important gathering where the foundations of our shared future, brotherhood, and unity are being built. I am confident that you will take the friendships you have formed here and the knowledge you have gained back to your home countries, making a significant contribution to the integration of the Turkic world," he said.
The meeting was held in a warm and informal atmosphere, allowing students to share their experiences in Türkiye and their academic achievements. They spoke enthusiastically about the cultural visits to the historic cities of Çanakkale and Bursa, which marked the first stage of the program, and highlighted the valuable opportunities they expect to gain from the upcoming academic lectures.
The Summer School participants also expressed their sincere gratitude to the university administration for providing them with this exceptional opportunity and for their continuous support.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Muhittin Şimşek wished the students success in their studies, posed for a commemorative group photograph, and presented them with special gifts.
