Today, our university hosted a meaningful meeting with university alumnus, Vice-President of the World Togyzkumalak Federation, sports figure, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and Professor Maksat Shotaev on the topic “New Constitution: Foundations of Intellectual and Cultural Development.”
The event was organized by the Center for Intellectual Games of Turkic Peoples (Scientific and Practical Center). The discussion focused on the significance of intellectual games and their role in personal and cultural development.
The purpose of the meeting was to enhance students’ interest in national intellectual games and to promote the importance and value of the traditional game of togyzkumalak.
During the session, Professor Maksat Shotayev spoke in detail about the history and cultural significance of togyzkumalak, as well as its role in developing concentration and logical thinking skills. He also introduced students to the techniques and strategies of the game.
In addition, he shared information about international online platforms featuring national intellectual games.
The meeting not only strengthened students’ interest in the national game of togyzkumalak but also inspired athletes who will participate in the upcoming republican sports league, motivating them to strive for victory.
