“KITAP TALQY – 2026” WRAPPED UP

Today, our university hosted the concluding event of the outdoor book discussion evening. The literary gathering was jointly organized by the library administration and the Ruhaniyat Club.
The main purpose of the event was to summarize the literary works discussed throughout the year and to recognize graduating students who actively participated in the book discussions.
Overall, the book discussions are aimed at broadening students’ spiritual and intellectual horizons through fiction literature, developing their critical thinking skills, and fostering a deeper interest in literary heritage.
The book discussions held at the university have become an important platform for students’ spiritual growth and intellectual development.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, nearly 30 literary works were analyzed and discussed in depth. The first of these was the work “Life on the Tip of a Needle.”
Through the works of Kazakh writers, issues of national identity, women’s destinies, and historical periods were comprehensively explored. This contributed to the development of students’ historical and social perspectives.
During the discussions of literary works, it became evident that students were affected not only academically, but also emotionally.
The library administration presented special letters of appreciation to graduating students who had been members of the Ruhaniyat Club since their first year and had regularly participated in the book discussions.
At the end of the evening, club members expressed their gratitude to the senior students for encouraging their interest in reading books.
It is worth noting that in the upcoming academic year, the library administration and the Ruhaniyat Club plan to continue and further expand the scope of literary discussions.
