Today, the Rector of the university, Zhanar Temirbekova, became acquainted with the work of the scientific laboratories of our educational institution.
In particular, she visited the laboratories of physical-mechanical and corrosion testing, new materials for nanotechnology and alternative energy, experimental research, physical experiments within the framework of STEM education, as well as metallographic X-ray analysis.
During the meeting, the laboratory staff and students, led by PhD, Associate Professor Sherzod Ramankulov, presented STEM projects being implemented on the basis of the university and demonstrated the operation of industrial-oriented equipment.
Recently, the laboratories have been supplemented with several devices. These instruments are being used in industrial practice by the university’s students, young researchers, and scientists. In addition, systematic work is being carried out in the direction of developing and producing physical equipment.
It should be noted that in the near future the area of the laboratories will be expanded; currently, renovation works are underway.
At the end of the visit, the Rector highly appreciated the work of the staff of the Research Institute and wished them success in their future projects.
