“A PLATFORM FOR SCIENCE AND INNOVATION: THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE HAS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED.”
At our university, the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Scientific Innovations in Education: Current Research and Future Opportunities,” organized as part of Science Month, has come to an end.
Held within the framework of a project by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this significant event focused on the development of STEM-oriented technologies and was conducted at a high level.
On the first day of the conference, scholars participated in a plenary session, sectional meetings, and a roundtable discussion titled “Modern Issues in Physics Education in the Context of Developing Students’ Soft Skills: Research, Solutions, and Scientific Collaboration.” They shared innovative ideas and delivered important presentations.
During the conference, participants extensively discussed improving STEM education, modern methods of teaching physics, the integration of digital technologies, the use of artificial intelligence, and the development of research skills.
In addition, they explored topics such as teaching elements of nanotechnology, the application of solar panels and alternative energy in education, the effectiveness of AR and virtual laboratories, collaboration between schools, universities, and industry, interdisciplinary teaching, and ways to enhance functional literacy. Furthermore, discussions also covered astronomy, environmental education, engineering and technical training, digital assessment systems, and innovative pedagogical approaches.
Today, participants also ознакомились with the work of the Research Institute of Natural Sciences, Nanotechnologies, and New Materials, and visited the STEM fair. Guests toured laboratories including Physical-Mechanical and Corrosion Testing, Nanotechnologies and New Materials for Alternative Energy, Experimental Research, Physical Experiments within STEM Education, as well as Metallographic X-ray Analysis.
Thus, the conference, aimed at implementing scientific research results into practice, training young researchers, advancing STEM fields, developing new technologies and industrial solutions, and promoting digitalization in industry, has successfully concluded.
